Release Notes
To install:
- Obviously, you need a Win64 installation on your system. If you
aren't sure, you don't have one. You need an AMD64 or EM64T chip, not
Itanium.
- Install UT2004 from the retail discs (any retail version will do).
The 32-bit installer will work fine.
- Patch the game with the 3369 patch. The patch program is also 32-bit,
but it will also work fine on Win64. This will crash on startup if you
don't patch to 3369.
- Unzip the above file into your ut2004 installation, so that
ut2004-win64.exe ends up in the game's System directory,
UT2004-Win64Logo.bmp ends up in the Help directory, etc.
- Run ut2004-win64.exe instead of ut2004.exe.
Please note that you use UT2004-win64.ini and UCC-win64.ini, which keeps
these seperate from your existing settings. The Win64 and Win32 versions
can completely coexist in the same installation if you want to switch
back and forth.
